An irritation can occur from using high-strength products on the skin, and an

irritation can consist of redness, tingling, stinging and a tight feeling of the skin.

Typically, the irritation is immediate after applying the product and will fade within a

few hours. This type of irritation reaction usually only shows directly on the area

where the product was applied. Occasionally, this can appear over continued use as

the skin barrier is impaired, such as using strong exfoliating products often.

If you have been using a high-strength product, such as exfoliating acids regularly,

high strength Vitamin A’s or high potency Vitamin C’s - we would firstly advise

referring to the application instructions for best usage and if this has been followed,

reduce how often you are using the product to suit the needs of your skin, which

should allow your skin to adjust.
